On our excursions one gets to enjoy the Lappish nature in the evening, hear ancient stories about northern lights as well as a more scientific explanation for this magical light phenomenon. You can choose to go out either by snowmobile or snowshoes. In the event that we do not see the northern lights, the trip is still worthwhile and memorable because of the beauty of the arctic nature during the evening time.<\/p>\n

Driving through Lappish forests during the night-time is already an experience of its own, but on this trip our aim is to see nature\u2019s magical light phenomenon, the Northern Lights. After the driving instructions we will head out into the forest at an easy pace. At the mid-way point, we\u2019ll have a break in our wilderness hut and while sipping hot drinks our guide will tell stories of northern lights. There will be plenty of time to stroll around in search of the magical Aurora Borealis.<\/p>\n
Duration:<\/strong> 2,5 hours \/ 20\u201325 km The Northern Lights, Aurora Borealis, are one of the most astonishing natural phenomena you can experience. The Yll\u00e4s region is a great place for admiring the beauty of nature\u2019s finest light show. Our guide will lead us through the arctic forest to the best viewpoints. The frozen Lappish nature will amaze you with breathtaking scenery and magical snowy tracks. We will have a break in a Laplander\u2019s hut with a campfire and enjoy a hot drink and a bun while our guide tells stories about Lapland, local people, their life and northern lights.
